Carnival Queen Pageant
After Rijeka chooses their carnival queen, the city mayor gives the key of the city to the carnival king and the fifth season of the year can start!
International Carnival Parade
“Krepat, ma ne molat!” (Die but never give up) – the motto that perfectly describes the incredible positive vibe and happiness ruling the day of the International Parade.
Children's Carnival Parade
Kids in Rijeka start getting masked and enjoying the carnival spirit as soon as they can walk, so even kindergartens in Rijeka have groups in the Children’s Carnival Parade!

Masked “Paris-Bakar” Rally
A traditional event organised by Rijeka Automobile Club is a rally of masked cars that runs through the city, from a suburb nicknamed Paris to a little town Bakar.
Carnival Snowboard Session
Contestants get to snowboard on a manmade snow slope positioned a few meters from the sea on one of the old city docks.
Carnival DJ Session
The event started from a spontaneous carnival party in 2000 and grew into a unique electronic music party in an old port warehouse Ex Port Delta in the city centre!
